Recipe For Peace

My family wanted to believe the lie that I wasn't drinking as much as I did, even when the veil was pierced and my alcoholism slipped out from behind the mask. Hiding the effects of the alcohol was much harder than hiding the bottles. Then one Christmas Eve, the curtain came crashing down. There was no covering up that last big drunk.
