Homebound

While working on the telephones at Intergroup, I noticed a list of seven homebound members who had requested telephone calls. I was able to connect with five of them. They were very grateful and pleased and even more so at the suggestion that they might exchange numbers and call one another. One man said that he had been on the list for three years without a call. Although I did not reach the other two, I believe that most shut-in AAs would benefit from exchanging calls with others. I have no suggestions about organizing this, but perhaps some ideas could be developed by others, especially those with the same experience.
