Poland Hosts AA's First Eastern Service Meeting

Last April, a first in the history of AA took place--the Eastern Service Meeting, held in Warsaw, with the aim of creating an AA bridge connecting all the countries of Eastern Europe. I went to the meeting full of anxiety and fear. Would it be a failure? Would all the invited guests come? Would the Fellowship of AA in Poland be a successful host? But gradually, as the guests arrived, my anxiety was replaced by hope and joy. They were welcomed by the general manager of our BSK AA (Poland's National Service Bureau) and the first timid handshakes and talks began.
