Don't Drink and Go to Another Meeting

When I first came to AA, people said, "If a particular meeting does not suit you, find one that does." I didn't listen, even though there was one chap at a meeting I went to who had the knack of really winding me up. He saw himself as the guardian of AA Steps and Traditions and if anyone, even a newcomer, said what he considered the wrong thing, he would pick up on it. I thought he was less than kind in his comments.
