A Marine reports for duty

When I first arrived on Okinawa, Japan, for duty with the Marine Corps, there was no meeting near the camp I lived on. I thought about starting one, but I never got around to acting on it. Once I got comfortable driving on Okinawa, I decided to check for meetings at the other camps and bases on the island. Then I found a meeting schedule for a group in the camp I work at and went to the Monday night meeting. When I got there, I discovered that the group no longer existed.
