A wedding on the eve of grief
Yesterday was my wedding day. I have been in this relationship for twenty years now, and the decision to finally tie the knot was prompted by the rapid physical decline of my wife's twenty-four-year-old granddaughter. She has cancer and is not expected to live more than a few weeks at best.
