The special section of the July 2001 Grapevine about inmates seeking AA opened new doors to my recovery and to service. After reading a little piece called "The Price of a Stamp" explaining the Corrections Correspondence Service, I reflected upon my freedom and the inmates' lack of it, and their willingness to be free from the bondage of self.
