Newsletters and Bulletins from the Fellowship at Large

AAs around the country took to print early in our Fellowship's history. The first issue of the A.A. Bulletin (forerunner of Box 459) rolled off the press November 14, 1940. Cleveland's Central Bulletin made its debut in October 1942. As the Fellowship swelled, some means of communication with our members was needed, not only to provide news about local events, but to help clarify the principles of the program. "There are 2000 members in the greater Cleveland area," the Central Bulletin reported, "and 2000 approaches to the problem of sobriety."
