Amazing Grace
A daughter shares the wonder of recovery with her mother
The author wrote this letter when she learned her eighty-one-year-old mother would be unable to attend her AA birthday party. It would have been the first her mother had ever attended--although her husband and all three of her children had been alcoholics.
