Tough sponsor

Like the author of "The Sponsorship Broker" (September 2004), I do not feel sponsors need to know all the answers, but I think they should know the right questions to ask. I think that a good sponsor knows how to listen. I hear members saying that they had a tough sponsor when they first came in and the key word is always "had." We usually outgrow that sort of sponsorship. Let us just keep telling our story, one alcoholic talking to another alcoholic, and we can literally become miracle workers.
