Let The Dogs Bark" (October 2004) was one of the more disturbing pieces I've read in the Grapevine in recent years. In response to those who criticize AA, the author prides himself on "restraint of tongue and pen." What he fails to do is listen. Our critics have much to teach us if we keep our ears open to what they're saying.
