I have always had a problem with honesty. And since honesty is mentioned three times in the first paragraph of "How It Works," it must be very important. Last month I was elected chairman of our group here at the minimum security facility. Soon after that, I received a letter from a man in North Carolina with over twenty years of sobriety who is willing to be my sponsor. I became connected to this person through a program called Bridge the Gap, and it is a blessing. I am so excited about the direction my life is finally taking.
