Why Go It Alone?
Relief comes as the result of a collaborative effort
It takes what it takes, and it took me eight years to get a sponsor. Initially, it was fear that kept me from asking for help. I seriously wondered if AA wasn't some kind of cult. I was sure I would soon be ringing a bell in some airport lobby, passing out back issues of the Grapevine, soliciting donations, asking for believers.
