A Horse Named Zachary

He was nonjudgmental and deeply sympathetic

In sobriety, I have witnessed many miracles. The miracle I wish to describe here is somewhat unusual. It involves a horse. The horse arrived in my life when I had been sober eight years. A series of difficulties, some of which arose from life on life's terms, and others which were, as the Twelve and Twelve puts it, "calamities of [my] own making," had left me scalloping along a deep emotional bottom.
