We're All in This Together

I came into Alcoholics Anonymous the loneliest man on earth. I did not feel worthy to belong anywhere, and was even a little suspicious that you welcomed me so freely and warmly. I felt even God did not want me. But I was more desperate and afraid than I was ashamed, and so I came to AA. I came that I might not die of this terrible affliction that is alcoholism.
