Picking up the Garbage

The 8:00 A.M. meeting began with a discussion on the issue of confrontation. There were about eight of us in attendance, and people shared how hard confrontation can be. Some talked about self-righteous anger and the belief that sometimes we're glad for an opportunity to express anger and frustration. The day before, someone at this same meeting questioned whether we had the right to express anger and deal with issues at all. Or were we always supposed to be kind and tolerant?
