A letter in your December 2003 issue asked for suggestions regarding shut-ins waiting to receive phone calls. When I was chair of the Special Needs Committee in Queens, part of our responsibility was to either make phone contact or bring meetings to the homebound. Please don't let someone wait three years for a phone call. Let us never forget our primary purpose, regardless of geographic situations.
