And Then There's Love

I used to live in a big city where there was a lot of diversity in AA meetings and where tolerance was the usual mode of interaction in meetings. Six years ago, I moved to a very remote town of about 6,000 people. We have seven AA meetings per week and very few people keep coming back after the first year or so. Our combined fellowship numbers between twenty and thirty and only three or four regular members have more than ten years of sobriety.
