On grace and grief

We lost a daughter to breast cancer after a five-year battle in September 2000. She was twenty-eight years old and our youngest child, my little girl. The outpouring of the community of AA was and still is a saving grace. Not a day goes by that my wife and I don't think and talk of Heather. We no longer feel like our hearts were ripped out of us, but the pain is still there and I still need to talk about what goes on inside of me. I'm not looking for advice, good or bad. Sometimes I just need to get it off my chest. I have had tough times before, but never anything like this.
