AA Grapevine Readers Respond to "Singleness of Purpose--what Are AAs Saying Today?" Featured in the May 2004 Issue

Here's a "keep it simple" answer to all those who are true-blue alcoholic-addicts, such as myself. Being dually addicted poses no problem for me: "Hi, I'm Danita, an alcoholic," I say at an AA meeting. "Hi, I'm Danita, an addict," I say at an NA meeting. Really quite simple, and very fulfilling. I'm dually grateful!
