A fellow I once sponsored visited me recently and told me this story. He had discovered, after moving to Florida, that he needed AA after all and got serious about sobriety. After driving another newcomer home after a meeting, he found a CD that his passenger had left behind. He played a track at random and he heard these words: "When you leave here, go to an AA meeting and get a sponsor. Go to a meeting and get a sponsor. . .get a sponsor." He thought, "I can't believe it. That's just what Chris used to tell me."
