One of the difficulties I've had in sobriety is thinking that my fellow alcoholics work a better program than I do. Oftentimes, I hear alcoholics stress that what works for them will work for you or me. Not necessarily so. In my case, I needed a "sponsor from hell" to help me work the Steps.
