The Grapevine has kept me sober when meetings were impossible, so I much appreciate it. I've been sponsoring a meeting for the Inuit in prison since 2000, and I encourage my Inuit friends to read the magazine, too. With its fantastic life stories, Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, Serenity Prayer, and AA Preamble, the Grapevine comes in the format of a meeting. Whether I'm travelling by skidoo, boat, or just walking--the Grapevine is like a portable literature case.
