A Second-year Delegate's Perspective

At the close of the 54th General Service Conference week, I entered the room where the business of AA had been conducted, and meditated. I pictured where we, the Conference members, sat throughout the week. I could almost hear the whispering voices and the laughter, and I felt an avalanche of emotions. But God quieted my thoughts, and I absorbed the essence of being one of many used as instruments to express AA's conscience as a whole. Processing this enhanced the experience for me of being part of AA's 54th General Service Conference.
