Three Graces

It's the beginning of spring here in Colorado. The crocuses hold their buds up to the sun, punctuating the browns of the still dormant garden. The scene reminds me that all seasons pass, spring always follows winter. It's taken me years of sobriety to have the maturity to know that, to understand that what I'm feeling now won't be forever.
