AA to Go?

When I entered AA at the age of seventy, I moved to a retirement community. With only bus transportation, my attendance at daily meetings was a challenge, so I frequently went to several before returning home. A fellow resident kept pestering me about why I was missing meals and activities. I said simply that I'd been at a meeting. One day she insisted on knowing what kind of meeting could be that important. I couldn't take any more. I said, "AA". Her look of surprise was replace by a happy smile. "Why, honey," she said, "I didn't even know you had a car!"
