Sometimes being wrong is a gift

It was a bitter cold evening in December of 1994. I was a newcomer, with less than ninety days of sobriety. My awakening occurred at the 7:30 P.M. Grapevine meeting, which met in the basement of the Presbyterian church. With a fresh cup of coffee in hand, having said my hellos, I settled into my seat. Just another typical AA meeting.
