The Middle Years" special section in the April 2005 issue was right on target. I celebrated ten years of sobriety in 1993 by pounding on the bar and wondering how I got there. But God willing and one day at time, I will celebrate ten years a second time this summer. I am not thirsty for a drink, but I have been feeling a little out of place.
