In Barbara C.'s article "Never-Ending Growth," in the February 2005 Grapevine, she expresses the painful experience of overextending herself in service work. As an old-timer in AA myself, I have also made the mistake of spreading myself too thin in the selfish delusion of wishing to be "all things to all people." Thank you, Barbara, for helping me put it into perspective and making me realize where I need to be.
