A narrow escape

I was performing service in a local prison recently. Nineteen inmates and I sat in a circle at the AA meeting, discussing triggers that may lead to a drink. Members brought up money, loneliness, gambling, sex, the old neighborhood, and family arguments. They wondered if they would to be able to remember, in time, the consequences that the first drink would bring.
