After Katrina: A Home Group Rebuilds

Monday, August 29, 2005, would turn out to be an event never to be forgotten by those who live along the Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama Gulf Coast. On this day, Hurricane Katrina unleashed a fury never before witnessed by the many hurricane veterans who reside here. I, like many thousands of others, lost all of my material possessions from the unprecedented storm surge that accompanied the hurricane. Others suffered even worse losses.
