The leaves were just beginning to turn red when 404 alcoholics and their friends gathered for the Eastern Canada Regional Forum in Sudbury, Ontario, September 15-17, 2006. The chair of AA's General Service Board, class A (nonalcoholic) trustee Leonard Blumenthal welcomed participants on Friday night and outlined the purpose of the event: to give members of the General Service Conference a chance to meet and exchange ideas with AAs doing service throughout the U.S. and Canada.
