Connected In The Combat Zone

Shortly after I came into AA, my sponsor told me that I should always find a meeting when I went out of town. From the time that I came into AA on April 7, 1991, until September 1998, I traveled to Army Reserve Duty in Hoover, Alabama once or twice a month. I found my second home group there and watched that group grow from just a few members to over twenty-five. So, no matter where my Army Reserve weekend duty took me, I always managed to find a meeting.
