THIS MORNING I REALIZED the extent that modern technology has influenced my spiritual life. I prayed silently as I walked into the lobby of my office building and headed toward the elevators. "God," I prayed, "please guide my thinking today . . . Oh, sorry, God--I may have to get back to you. I am getting into the elevator and might lose the signal."
