I got mine

When it came to carrying the message of AA, my attitude could have been described as indifferent, lethargic, and lazy. I had the IGM (I Got Mine) type of sobriety. I said that I had taken coffee commitments and speaking commitments, but you would be hard-pressed to see me with a coffee pot in my hand or in front of a room sharing my experience. The only service I was capable of was lip service; I would tell people how important it was to do service, but I never raised my hand for a job. The Responsibility Declaration was just another sign on the wall.
