Around the block

I try to maintain my serenity at all times. I remember, during my beginning days in Alcoholics Anonymous, that I walked around the block so many times that I knew everyone who lived on my block by their first name. Eventually, I regained quiet in my life and saw many simple things for the first time. Quiet came to me when I walked away from chaos and into a silent room. In this quiet room, I read many books, listened to many soft tapes, and wrote many quiet letters. I often meditated, as well.
