The fast path to being the drunk she swore she'd never be

Like any kid, I dreamed of what I'd be when I grew up. At times I'd think of being a cowgirl or maybe a superwoman. As I got older, my ideas turned more to dude rancher and horse farmer. Next, I seriously considered being a nun and living a life of service to Jesus. When I got married at age seventeen, I knew I'd really found my calling. I promised myself I'd be the best wife, homemaker, and mother in the world.
