I am forty-six years old, and I am in prison for the first time. I shared my story from behind the walls in a letter, requesting an AA correspondent. A month later, I received an answer. At first, I told her a few things about myself. She wrote back and related to my story and how drinking makes our life unmanageable. We have so much in common.
