I was at my regular open discussion meeting, and there was a newcomer attending. I began a list of phone numbers of group members and gave it to him during the meeting. He asked, "What is this?" I explained. He told me he wanted a sponsor. I'm also new in the program, so I felt that I might not be the best choice out of the group. I suggested that he raise his hand and share.
