I was a thrifty drinker. I shopped around and found the best drinking bargains in town. If there was a happy hour, ladies' night, or drink special of any kind going on, I was there--if I wasn't already passed out or too hung over from the night before. I was dedicated to getting my--or anyone else's--money's worth, no matter what the physical or emotional cost.
