I am new to Alcoholics Anonymous. Today is only my fifth day of sobriety. Last night; I went to a meeting and asked, "How do you know when you are ready to quit?" A girl spoke up and said that she has been sober for nine months and still doesn't know if she is ready. She said she takes it one day at a time. I thought that was pretty cool.
