Meeting-makers Make It
They do more than just show up
Many people think the slogan, "Meeting-makers make it," means that going to meetings guarantees sobriety. I have a different understanding, and it comes from my first meeting on October 13, 1990. For me, the miracle was not attending my first AA meeting, but that I ever went to another one.
