Hide and seek?

I'm amazed at the resistance to hanging the circle and triangle sign noted in December's story, "Signs of AA." Have we forgotten that the main purpose of AA is to "stay sober, and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety?" Everywhere I go, I see signs that help me find places--the store, the doctor's office, and the lawyer's office, for example. Do we expect people to play hide-and-seek when finding a life-saving meeting? I'm not an old-timer, but I have seen things change over the past fifteen years. More and more, it's about "me" to the existing members and not about the newcomer. Now that we are saved, do we become exclusive and secret? It's a good thing members weren't hiding when it was our turn to find AA, isn't it?
