Survey Reveals 'Lost Decade' Between Disorder Onset and Treatment

At some time during THEIR LIVES, more than thirty percent of U.S. adults surveyed in 2001-2002 met diagnostic criteria for an alcohol use disorder. According to a current NIH (National Institutes of Health) news release, many of these patients had never received treatment.
