Into The Woods

I see now how the twelve Steps can work upside down. In early sobriety, as I began to work the Steps, each new day I felt like I was climbing up the "ladder of success." I had found, and now belonged in, the human race. It was wonderful. I was making sober friends and life was getting easier without alcohol in it.
