My most memorable time during my service commitment on the Grapevine committee was when Captain John (now at the big meeting in the sky) asked if I'd take some Grapevines to a lady in a nursing home. She had thirty years of sobriety in AA. With only a couple of years under my belt, I had a little fear about going to visit someone with so much sobriety. Well, the truth was that I was always intimidated.
