I have been in and out of AA since 1971. I tried everything I could think of to stop drinking--you name it, I tried it. Suddenly, I thought I knew the answer. I'm an avid outdoorsman and I went to Alaska. I went to hunt, fish, watch eagles fly, and avoid drinking. The Last Frontier was great! But I also found out something else: Fairbanks, Alaska, has the nicest jail I've ever been in.
