A burden removed

At fourteen months sober, I was challenged with cleaning up the wreckage of my past. I carried a tremendous grudge against a business associate. It involved money--residue from my drinking days, one of my get-rich-quick deals. At the time, I could not look at where I was at fault, let alone admit that "I" had placed myself in this situation. I was still plotting how I was going to take advantage of this person.
