When I decided to try AA once again, I wanted it for life. I was living in Daytona Beach, Florida, and called an old drinking buddy whom I hadn't seen in over ten years. I was shocked to hear he had been sober for ten months, and he told me if I wanted to learn how to live a sober life, then I should call him when I wasn't drinking. Two weeks later, I called back and asked him how he did it. He shared his experience, strength, and hope.
