Gunning for Recovery
My father was a minister, and we moved several times in my childhood as he took new preaching jobs. In my early teens, we moved again, from Kansas to West Virginia. All my friends were left behind, and I held a grudge against my father for dragging us there. But I started going to parties, life got a little better, and I made some new friends. Because of our Christian beliefs, drinking was a huge sin to my family, but because of my resentment against my father, I didn't care.
